Good News Stories

The team wanted to share the good news stories that have occurred in the local area this week, following the work the team has been doing. This is the work that the teams of Beckenham Town and Copers Cope, Clock House, Kelsey and Eden Park and Shortlands and Park Langley have been a part of.

On very limited numbers across the teams, this week your local SNT’s have managed to be in attendance of a number of events and continue with the crime prevention advice and proactive patrols.

The team have been apart of assisting with proactive patrols coving the Festival Republic in Crystal Palace Park as well as patrols for the Made in the 90s Festival in New Addington Park, these patrols aimed to deter any criminal behaviour as well as provide reassurance to local and attending members of the community.

The team have created a number of upcoming proactive operations covering anti-social behaviour, vehicle offences and many more. The results of these operations will be shared across all of the teams.

This week the local team alongside the Bromley Police Community Liaison Officers, London Ambulance Service, TfL, The British Red Cross, London Fire Brigade, Youth of Christ and Bromley School Nurses, have been a part of the Junior Citizens Scheme, in Beckenham Fire Station. This scheme aimed to provide year 6 pupils with the transition to secondary school, covering a range of issues such as: safety on public transport, what to do in case of a fire in the home, online safety, self-hygiene, emergency first aid and knife crime.
